Placing Your Dumpster
A common question we hear from our customers is, “where can they place my dumpster?” The answer to that is simply because we can put your dumpster just about anywhere on your property. Most of our customers prefer to have their roll-offs placed in their driveway but we can also accommodate yard placement. Occasionally, a dumpster can damage your yard especially when you are filling the container with heavy debris. If you care for your grass and don’t want to see your yard ruined, I would not recommend asking for yard placement.
We prefer to place dumpsters on a solid and non-inclined driveway. If your driveway has too much of an incline we may not be able to place your dumpster. Another thing to keep in mind is that there cannot be any low hanging wires, tree branches, or any other type of obstruction from keeping our driver from being able to deliver your dumpster. If our driver is unable to drop-off the dumpster through no fault of their own you will be charged for a trip fee.
If you would like for your dumpster to be placed in the street in front of your property, you will need to contact Dayton department of planning and zoning. They will instruct you as to how to obtain a permit for street placement and how long you can have your dumpster onsite. Once you receive your permit, you will need to fax it to us, so our driver can be sure he is legally delivering the dumpster. Depending on where you are Dayton, we may be able to retrieve this permit for you, if you would like us to check please give us a call and we will see what we can do.
